Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons App Reviews

My game wont progress past the area where the brothers take a zip line around a track. They jump on but it doesnt move (Ive checked in a walk through). The game is also very easy. Solutions to progression are obvious. Lastly, the controls are annoying.

I normally dont write reviews for anything, but this deserved my time. The storyline, the graphics, and even the soundtrack was spectacular. Definitely worth your money. In fact, I bought the soundtrack online, I loved it so much. Playing on an iPhone 6 has its problems with controls at time because the screen isnt quite big enough, but its really a minimal problem. I actually felt I was in a movie the way the story captures your imagination. I will keep playing just to unlock all the achievements. Kind of hope they make a second one or another game with just as fantastic of a storyline.

Played just fine on my iPhone 6. The atmosphere and music are incredible. I was really surprised with the the monsters, giants, and surreal creatures as well. There are no glitches on the tower, tree, or other areas. If you cant get past it or get something to work its just because you havent figured it out yet. Tap above the brothers control circle (not on) when you want that brother to let go and swing with the rope on the tower. Hint: When youre sitting on your brothers shoulders to free the woman theres something you need to do first so they worship you instead of kill you. Be patient and youll figure these areas out. They are not glitches.

This has to be one of the most enjoyable games I have ever played on my iPad. Got it on sale but wouldve payed full price!

Like other reviewers here, Im not one to write reviews but this game deserves a review. The beauty and feeling of this game were like being a part of a movie, or story. The story line totally pulls you into it and makes you lose yourself in the brothers world. I so hope that this company will make more games like this, it was beyond comparison with any other game that Ive tried. Thank you!

Great Story - an actual relationship in a game where both characters work cooperatively and lovingly together rather than shoot each other. The puzzles are challenging and doable. The graphics are beautiful. This should be an award winning game and an editors choice!

This app is very beautiful in many places, but the boys come upon situations that are more and more bloody (rivers of it). The story is just disgusting and the ending rotten. What were they thinking? Its about as fun as running out in front of a speeding car. Please save your money and happiness. Now Im going to try to get a refund!

Ive tried over and over to simply open this app but it just crashes every time! Very frustrated because I was excited to play it.

This was the first story-driven game Ive really enjoyed all the way through the end on my iPhone. There are too many games with decent plots but are encumbered by repetitive gameplay that kill my mood to finish them. The gameplay is refreshingly unique and kept me immersed. Very short game but they did so well making it feel like a grand adventure that I still feel very satisfied about my experience. The bar has been raised, iOS game devs.

I played this several months ago and cant let it go! It was amazing and has been with me ever since. The story is perfect. The graphics stunning. And the controls unique but not too hard to where the enjoyment is effected. Best game Ive ever played on iPhone.

I don’t recall playing a game that integrated the gaming, adventure and story telling elements as well as this one. When I began this, I was playing a game. But as the game progressed, I felt like I was getting acquainted with the characters. Although they were not speaking english, not sure what they were speaking, the game still tells an understandable story. By the end of the game, I actually felt like I had just played the best interactive movie ever. I would love to see 505 Games do more with this idea. The first few things I would like to see are, the ability to actually co-op with one other player. The team work that was needed between the characters, would add a great challenge for two actual players, especially between father and child, or even between siblings. Also it might be interesting to allow alternative paths with the possibility of different outcomes. But most of all, I would like to see more stories.

I have an iPad mini. It costed me five dollars to get this game and took an hour to download. After it finally downloaded I tried it out. It would start to load but then after five seconds of loading it would kick me off the game. There have been lots of games that Ive tried where that would happen but this one costed me five bucks! Im sure though that it would be a great game if it worked. Please fix this problem!

This game is the best thing ever. I am not an affectionate person when it comes to games or movies or books Ive cried twice, mAYBe, and at the end I promise you with all the pieces of my shattered heart, I was sobbing. Love this game it deserves every bit, and then some, of the attention and praise and support it gets. I love it. And for all the parents checking to see if its a good game or not its an amazing problem solving game for 10+ year olds I would say.

A beautiful drama that touches your soul and really moves you. I really loved it and never expected the end. It was mind blowing.

This is one of the most beautiful games Ive ever played! The story line, the characters, the simplicity of the dialogue, this game is a bargain for what you get. Amazingly beautiful and fulfilling is all I can say!

Paid for it, reinstalled it, rebooted iPad...still wont load Sharon

Awesome game .I hope they can make another game like that or second version.

Initial start up says loading will take a few seconds longer the first time, then the game crashes every time. I havent even gotten to see the title screen. Waste of money unless it can be corrected.
